Resumen
The effects of the Social Expressions Program on were determinal the Social Skills in a sample of teenagers from a Magisterial Association in S.J.M. The design was quasi-experimental with pre and post-test, a control group and an experimental group which perforned a 10 session’s program. The sample consisted of 60 teenagers, both sexes, 14 – 16 years old who reported to have low Social Skills. The Multidimensional Scale of Social Expression Motor part - (EMES- M) and The Multidimensional Scale of Social Expression Cognitive part - (EMES - C) were used. The results show ed that there were highly significant differences in scores of Social Skills, between the pre-test and post-test scores of the experimental group and between the post test scores of the control group and the post test scores of the experimental group (p < .001); therefore, it is concluded that the program of social expression increases the level of social skills.
